I've Been Everywhere (in Texas that is...)
November 19, 2008 - 5:41 am

Here's a video of my journey across Texas on my motorcycle set to the tune of Johnny Cash and "I've been everywhere, man". The twist is, Texas singer/songwriter Brian Burns www.brianburnsmusic.com/bbm_default.htm swapped out the towns in the original song for Texas towns, cities and communities. My journey took 10,641 miles to complete and I had a ton of fun along the way. Some towns such as Spring Lake (formally knows as Clabbertown) ceased to exist 100 years or more ago, and others like Mill Creek and Val Verde were nothing but rural communities with no true city limit signs. In these instances, a post office, church or significant landmark was photographed as proof of visiting that location. Bartleville doesn't exist in the Roads of Texas, atlas, or any mapping programs and there have been lyric references to Bartonville which was secured by photograph. The music came from the Eagle and Snake CD. I HIGHLY recommend you purchase it if you like Texas ballads. This guy is awesome. I hope you enjoy the trip. Hang on, because the ride is fast.....

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood (Long version!)
November 19, 2008 - 5:41 am

Long version of Texas Flood by stevie ray vaughn ! Texas Flood is an electric blues album by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released in 1983. Although "Texas Flood" has three verses of lyrics, the song is more of a prolonged guitar solo, allowing Vaughan to show off his characteristic electric blues style. During live shows, he would often play portions of this song behind his back, arousing an enthusiastic crowd response. Stylistically, "Texas Flood" is structured around the common three chord blues progression. Written and performed in the key of G (sounding F# because of Vaughan's tuning), it is in 12/8 time, or compound time[1], which gives it a "slow burning" feel that is common in Texas blues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Flood_%28song%29

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) Full Trailer
November 19, 2008 - 5:41 am

The Trailer for The Texas Chainsaw Movie (2003 version), starring Jessica Biel, R Lee Ermey, Jonathan Tucker, Erica Leerhsen, Mike Vogel and Eric Balfour. I already saw some versions of this trailer here on YouTube, but they were shorter and showed less footage of the movie, so I posted this one. (This trailer comes from the Apple Trailers website, and is not made by me) The songs played at the beginning is called 'Song to the Siren' originally by Jeff/Tim (thanks PinkCloud37) Buckley, but most famously covered by a 1980's goth band named "This Mortal Coil", but the version in this trailer was recorded by a girl from a band called "Moneypenny"/Synchronic Music in the WB studio and isn't available for download anywhere, nor has it been released on CD. The song at the end of the trailer (01:46) is called "Signal to Noise" by Peter Gabriel, from the Gangs of New York OST, but it's a remade version for this movie... The story was based on a man called "Ed Gein" but he didn't use a chainsaw. The cannibalistic familiy depicted here never existed!!! Some proof here: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=MCuTm31z7ck&fmt=18 . Hopefully this will stop the fighting on my video page... Enjoy! :-) DLL108.

This is the best of several generator shows these amazing guys from Dayton, Ohio performed at Cornerstone 2006. Despite my amateur status, that I was behind the speakers & the fact that my camera is designed 4 shooting stills, not video, I'm okay with the final product. This is primarily due to the grace of God & the amazing, energetic performance by the guys.
