JOHN WILLIAMS IS THE MAN! (A Star Wars-themed four-part a cappella song) GET THE MP3 (AND READ THE LYRICS): http://www.moosebutter.com/starwars A BIG thank you and ALL musical credit goes to the a cappella comedy group Moosebutter (from Provo, UT), who greatly assisted me in the making of this video and memorizing their brilliant song "Star Wars" from their 2002 album 'see dee'. This video was done with their blessing and their support. Check out their website here: http://www.moosebutter.com/ FEATURED ON YOUTUBE CANADA (Nov. 3, 2008)! TIM (FROM MOOSEBUTTER) INTERVIEWED ON BLOGTALKRADIO: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/annieburltalk/2008/11/13/youtube-phenomenon-corey-vidal John Williams (born February 8, 1932) is an American composer, conductor and pianist. In a career that spans six decades, Williams has composed many of the most famous film scores in history, including all but one of Steven Spielberg's feature films, Star Wars, Superman, Jaws, E.T., Born on the Fourth of July, Harry Potter, and more. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: "Is that really you singing?" No. Sorry to disappoint you, but all 4 beautiful voices belong to the men from Moosebutter. They are a professional a cappella comedy group from Utah, and were kind enough to assist me in the making of this video. Check them out and hear more hilariously awesome songs at http://www.moosebutter.com "What order did you film the video clips in?" I don't know why so many people ask this, but I've been getting it a lot. I filmed them from highest to lowest, vocally: 1st - TOP-LEFT: Tenor 1 2nd - TOP-RIGHT: Tenor 2 3rd - BOTTOM-LEFT: Baritone 4th - BOTTOM-RIGHT: Bass "Where did you get the 'Player' shirt?" These shirts were given out by Google at a YouTube Gathering in Toronto, Canada on August 8th, 2008. I've been told only 300 were made for the event, however that doesn't mean more won't show up in the future. I have no idea where you could get one. Sorry! "Are you going to make another one of these?" Yes, actually. Moosebutter and I are working on all kinds of projects together now. Subscribe so you don't miss out! Video Killed the Radio Star
November 19, 2008 - 5:30 am

Classic New Wave Music Video by the Buggles Video Killed the Radio Star" is a 1980s New Wave song (released in 1979) by the British group Buggles that celebrates the golden days of radio. With broadcast-quality vocals and a bouncy rhythm, the song plays like a jingle. A fitting sound, given the song tells of a singer whose career is cut short by television. Horn has said his lyrics were inspired by the J.G. Ballard short story "The Sound-Sweep," in which the title character, a deaf and dumb boy vacuuming up stray music in a world without it, comes upon an opera singer hiding in a sewer. He also felt "an era was about to pass."

Star Wars according to a 3 year old.
November 19, 2008 - 5:30 am

02/26/08 Update: Wow. What was expected to be a short movie that would circulate within a small circle of friends has turned into something much more very quickly. I'm thrilled that so many people have enjoyed this video but also somewhat mortified that I added this without my daughter's knowledge or consent. Maybe someday she will find some humor in it. Comments: Have been disabled. I think they have run their course. To those who have sent positive comments, thank you very much. You've made us appreciate what we have even more than we already do. To those of you who've said you've changed your mind about having children, well, have at it. :) Business inquiries/agents: Thanks for your interest. At the current time we have no intention of exposing our little one to the destroyer of youth that is the entertainment industry (with the exception of Star Wars, heh). Hopefully if she chooses to follow this path on her own someday she will find a door still open for her. Other things: She has never seen Pokemon so I don't think she's making a reference to the ball on that show. I think she just means pokey ball as in "a ball that is pokey." (And yes, I know what the pokey balls really are! Stop emailing :) ) Three year olds can't read. I'm sure there are exceptions to that rule. ------------------------------------- Here is my daughter, age 3, explaining the plot of Star Wars Episode IV. She explained the whole movie to me in much greater detail but unfortunately I didn't have the camera going. When I finally caught her talking about the movie again she delivered this truncated, but still funny, version. Edit: Thank you all for the nice comments. Maybe I will print them out for her and someday and when she's all growed up she'll get to read them herself. A little more about the video: She wasn't coached to say anything, nor was she forced to make the video. She rarely stops talking. Those of you with children understand this: sometimes it's harder to turn the faucet off than to turn the faucet on. Believe it or not, she has the seem the movie only once, and I spread it out over 3 days so it wouldn't be too much all at once for her. The video was edited to make it shorter, more cohesive and hopefully funnier. I did move some of the lines around so it would make more sense.

A music video featuring some of your favorite or perhaps not so favorite Star Wars characters like you've never seen them before. IMPORTANT NOTE: This video is not mine, and I do not take any credit for it. Here are the lyrics (although please note that they are not absolutely correct, as I do not have confirmation from the artists). From now on, any comments asking for the lyrics will simply be removed. I will not insult you even if you are stupid and ignorant enough to deserve it. Admiral: This is Admiral Biatch to base camp, it seems the stormtroopers have gone on strike and I have no experience with this type of shit. Who should I call for help? Vader: It's the V to the A to the D-E-R (Vader!) Reconstructin' the Death Star! With my slick suede suit that's black like tar, Fucking you up no matter who you are! Palpatine: Tell them motherfuckers 'bout this here Dark Side! Pull up on your planet, Death Star drive-by! And we'll beat the Rebels 'cause their skills ain't shit! Vader: And in my TIE Fighter, Zig-zags stay lit! Yoda: Oh, shit! Yoda on the scene, 900 year fiend smoking Dagobah green! Bitches on my tip, like Lando on liquor. Lando: Ah, you're just jealous 'cause my black dick's thicker. Chewbacca: *Wookie yell* Lando: Yo! Tell 'em Chewie, last night I had Leia all drunk wanting to do me. Luke: Shut the fuck up man! Leia's my sister! The only thing you're getting is a beat-off blister. Ben Kenobi: Luke! Use the force before intercourse, but Luke! Don't forget! Bitches ain't nothing but hos and tricks! (Ohh!) Luke: Obi-Wan, I'm the top gun! (top gun) The chosen one, hotter than both suns! Vader ain't shit, his head's cut up and split! He's slower than the first Pentium chip! (Dark Side!) Vader: No one brings it worse to this fuckin' universe! (Rebels!) Luke: You know we'll fucking win, 'cause we'll fight to the end! (Dark Side!) Palpatine: I can feel the anger dwelling within you! (Rebels!) Yoda: You also feel Vader's dick in you. BIATCH! *Incomprehensible Huttese Jabba rap* Han Solo: Jabba, you ain't nothing but a fat-ass slug! Fake gold chains? You sorry-ass thug! Sittin' in your palace with your blue-headed whore, trap door to the Rancor. *sound of someone falling* C3PO: Oh, my, goodness gracious me! I'm a gay man's golden fantasy! Programmed for homo-ecstasy, ten million forms of gay positioning. For my golden shower, you must pay a fee, but R2-D2 gives it up for free. *R2-d2 squeaks* R2-D2, watch your language! Always having sex with robotic strangers! Jar Jar Binks: Meesa like to drink and smoke all night! Meesa like to fight and fucka yo wife. Meesa no care 'cause meesa so dumb. Meesa will fuck you with me tongue. Yousa wants a meesa cause meesa wants some. Yousa wants a meesa cause meesa wants some. Yousa wants a meesa cause meesa wants some. Meesa wants some cause meesa wanna cum!
