So is the U.S education system. You obviously missed a few spelling and grammar classes. Just in case you're too ignorant to figure out what you missed - [reffering - referring]. Thanks for posting.
Oh yeah, great video.

Yep, just get good grades and be involved like I said. Apply for the scholarship fall of your junior year. Even if you don't get it, you can do NROTC and get it after your freshman year. They'll pay all educational expenses, like in my case $40k in flight fees over and above tuition, so it is a very nice scholarship. You've still got plenty of time to think things over, but it's an option I'd keep on the table.

I'm doing golf, and I have track, cross country, and soccer lined up next. If I keep doing these and continue it in high school along with ROTC, good grades, I'll be close to that PRK and the Navy?

You still can't fly with contacts/glasses, but if you get PRK once your eyes have matured you can get a waiver that allows you to fly. What I have is just the Navy ROTC scholarship..just google it. You'll need to challenge yourself academically, or at least look like you are, and get involved in other things, sports, NHS, student council, mentoring..that kind of stuff, grades are a must, but they're not enough on their own.

Really, you can join naval aviation with glasses? I'm taking Algebra I right now in 8th grade, I always have 90 to 100s in that class. Do I need to keep up that kind of qualification to do what you are doing?

Ignore that kid that replied to you. I had glasses, contacts now, and the Navy is paying for me to go to college and major in professional flight. The summer after my junior year they're going to pay for me to get PRK, the military's preferred method of laser eye correction, and I'll be good to go as far as being a fighter pilot. Keep your grades up, be involved in school, stay out of trouble, and you're well on your way.
