I'm not a huge fan of rap either but I defend all music, and yes, it is music. Imagine the kind of lyricism that goes into making most rap songs. MOST, being the operative word. Look up older, more melodic rap. Some Wutang, GZA, RZA, especially GZA, he has a message in every rap. His raps are awesome and genuine.
I hate Lil Wayne, but him and T-Pain put on a HELL of a show in Greensboro!
Oh, and listen to some newer rap, and try to get some of those messages. "Live Your Life" is a great example.

Man, scottysgirl, not all kids today like rap.
I, for instance, think it sucks a big fat cocksicle, and always has. There is nothing good about rap. It's like fucking poetry with some dipshit making piss-poor noise in the background, and I hate poetry. At least if you put it to music it shows a bit of talent...but like I said, rap doesn't have music in it. And god, the culture that follows rap is worse than the actual rap. So many fucking dipshits. "HOO LOOK AT ME I HOLDS A GUN SIDE-A-WAIZ LOL"

It would help a lot of us out and I bet it would be a hit channel. Punk/Metal/Grunge would be the best, they need like a pure 1990's music station! lol
