The process is through supersaturation of a salt. By adding heat, you can pack tons of that salt into a small amount of water. My Chem teacher put about twenty pounds of that stuff in about 4 cups of water. There is so much salt in the water that a small disturbance, such as a finger breaking the surface of the water, makes the salt start to form back into a solid because the water physically can not hold anymore in solution. It's a cool effect. And it actually gets hot when it comes out of H20.
  23. Daviot Says:
what if you drank it lol
