This song and Some Like It Hot are total shagging music! :)
Music to get a horn on to...especially watching sexy as John Taylor in the vids. I can see why I had such a crush on him when I was a kid.

RARITIE:This album was producer by Bernard Edwards (Chic -bass) and featured by Chic-drummer Tony Thompson...Two "disco music" players. But The Sound is incredible, and POWER STATION is PURE ROCK AND ROLL!!

Tony Thompson is dead? Did'nt know that, r u sure? Bernard Edwards, the cofounder of the seventies group "chic" had died I believe in 2000. Tony had been the drummer for chic for many years....that I do recall, well, if so, u r right great loss.......

It tells something that he was one rumoured to replace John Bonham in Led Zeppelin along Cozy Powell and few others.
Then again he played for Chic as well in entirely different style of music.

Perhaps the background image of flaming planes in front of the World Trade Center was not the best choice. Or, were they prophetic?
