in comparison to all of the groups former bands, yes.
They've basically took what each of them were good at and genetically modified it into one big chuck of hip-hop-rave-rock. personally i think ty should step up on the vocals and carry it more if they are going to go that route. His lines in the ending section of mirrored(i think) are very good, haunting. They need more of this to pull it toghether.

One of those songs that kinda makes you go, 'who the fuck was that?' Genius, and I ain't sure why. Almost perfect.

maybe i should have written 'next style' instead of 'progression'. i agree, the songs seem static at times. don cab was great, always dynamic.

progression? i dont know.
I actually prefer LYNX, Don cab and Ty solo to this. its more like a conglomeration.
its a bit too corn-syrup. they never change time sig. its static and the melodic elements are juvinile. I give them another 3 albums to get anywhere.

no i actually dont. first buying all of the original EPs was the biggest rip-off (and waste of plastic/packaging).and now the new album is weak, its like a lot of doodles and like 3 versions of the same song. very incomplete.like 4 track experiments.
an incomplete statement. Its kinda like garbage house techno or something.
