Though many couldn't at first understand it when they left the theater or the tv set, when you really take the time to think about the concept, the music, and the sheer brilliance of the characters, it really is astonishing to see what a beautiful piece the film really is. It speaks a lot towards morals, and has many of life's hardest truths in it.

January 9th, 2009 at 23:46:45 I think the problem most people had with this movie was that it was marketed as a suspense thriller when Shyamalan himself said it's a romance movie. People had it in their minds that they were going to be scared or creeped out, like his previous films. and in turn could not appreciate the true meaning of the movie.
